Golf Citrus Hammamet is the first 45-hole golf complex in Tunisia. Located just minutes from the Bay of Hammamet, this concept with exceptional international routes, was designed around 7 lakes in an area of 173 hectares of olive trees and forest. The layout of Golf Citrus, designed by renowned architect Ronald Fream, advantageously exploits the natural characteristics of a slightly hilly olive grove as well as the steep hills of the Forest. The two 18-hole Par 72 Golf Championship courses are attractive for their aesthetic and technical quality, their impeccable maintenance throughout the year and their perfect integration into the heart of a preserved site. Courses that are both peaceful and challenging for players of all levels.
Opened in 1991, the Yasmine is a true championship course. Designed by golf architect Ronald Fream, it is characteristic of its unique style with expansive teeing areas, dramatic bunkers and creative use of water. Sand-based greens, a fully automated irrigation system and extensive drainage system keep the course in excellent condition all year round.
The course (Par 71), measures 5850 meters from the back tees with three par 5s and four par 3s. The prevailing wind means that good club selection is as important as the execution of golf shots! Well positioned bunkers, large stepped greens and undulating outlines add to the demands of this course. The Yasmine course is open to everyone all year round. A Marshall ensures etiquette and speed of play is observed. The clubhouse which overlooks the course offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
